Friends, Neighbors and Acquaintances
Somethings will always be remembered
In my travels I’ve been fortunate to know as well as meet many folks along the way, most will be remembered. Some are friends that I’ve known for some time,
others are the neighbors close to my camp grounds I’ve stayed at. Along the way I’ve become friends with a few and of course there are the acquaintances I’ve met briefly at campgrounds, rest stops and the like.
Having people that I can relate to with various commonalities is comforting to me. All have one thing in common; there great people. They’ve been different ages, ethnicities and personalities, all with something in common. There actions have shown me that they actually care, care to give and share. It’s very obvious in their actions and is very much appreciated.
The hospitality has been amazing. The conversations, the different experiences they share with me have been both entertaining and refreashing, all have great stories and experiences to share. Some have offered me awesome meals, others have let me use their equipment and still others have given more. Why? because they want to. That’s the kind of people they are and I love that about them.
The homemade cooking I’ve been offered has been nothing short of spectacular, whether cooked on the camp fire or in the kitchens of campers and homes I’ve visited; or just a simple cup of wine to say hello. They all have one thing in common, their hospitlity has been amazing to say the least.
All this positive socialization along the way has certainly made a difference in my outlook while traveling. It’s re-instilled a positive outlook in my travels and my life; It’s made a diffrence, and I look forward to more of the same in the future.
The photos below are those that have really stuck in my mind. Unfortunately, I don’t have photos of some but will never the less be remembered as well.
Thank you all for your generosity, I will remember. Try to stay in touch and I hope to visit again someday.
Be safe where every you are and in all that you do, until next time.
