Once gain I’m traveling the Boise National Forest. It seemed as though I was hibernating all winter long, anxiously anticipating the day I can get back into the mountains or just get out and do some traveling. HAVE you ever heard of the saying – It’s not the Destination, but the Journey  – you probably have, But have you ever taken a hard look at those few simple words and what they mean?  I enjoy traveling and all that’s involved. Lucky Peak – a simple day trip

Lucky Peak – Just a Short Drive Away. Lucky Peak State Park is the perfect place for swimming, picnicking, fishing, boating or biking. Sandy Point and Discovery is a 10 minute drive from Boise and Springs Shores Marina is 40 minutes away. I’ve been cooped up in my apartment for months now.
